039 - You go, girl!

"I always wanted to step into streams that other girls do not dare to. I opted for mechanical, but I ended up in production engineering, and I loved every second of learning it. Generally, life went smooth, but now and then, having born a girl, I faced obstacles, and through every obstacle, I learnt the art of surmounting hindrances. During my 10th grade, I secured the third-highest mark in my district. I even received appreciation from the district collector for it, and this was the first time I was recognised. Apart from academics, I love to engage socially and hence, I am a regular in various clubs. I am the treasurer of the Literary and Debating Society, Director of Administration of Rotaract club, and Event manager at Tedx GCT.

Ilamathi mam is my inspiration at college. I like the way she guides students in shaping their careers. Another person whom I admire is Akash pavan from Mechanical Engg. I always admire his passion for Engineering.

When I was in my second year, I attended the BAJA recruitment interview which happened at our college, but unfortunately, I couldn't make it into the team. This failure made me hustle hard and explore new things, and at present, I have become a member of the team.

There were circumstances which challenged my real determination, and there have also been situations where I stood unique breaking all stereotypes. A woman need not mess up work and family if she has a bunch of people around to support and assist her when needed. Women! Stay soft and strong; leave a sparkle wherever you go"
